Our steel rolling mill produces a range of different products which include U-shaped profiles, flat profiles, T-shaped profiles, square profiles, angle profiles, and rebars. Steel rebars – reinforcing bars – are used for the reinforcement of concrete structures in order to help strengthen the concrete when it is under tension. Concrete has great strength under compression, but is not so strong when under tension, and our steel rebars make a significant increase in the tensile strength of any concrete structure. Steel and concrete also have very similar coefficients of expansion which means that there is very little differential stress in the concrete structure when the temperature changes.
